Our mission is to elevate and empower immigrants and former refugees as leaders, using international cuisine as a platform for economic resilience, holistic growth, and culture-sharing. As they share flavors from their original home cultures, the Chef Entrepreneurs in our programs learn career skills, earn the income from their food sales, and build community connections. Every day we are open features a different International Chef Partner! A former restaurant owner in Daraa, Syria, Abdulkareem is building a following and a catering business here in Spokane. Coming Soon Thursday, May 16 Asma Younes | Sudan Chef Asma’s cuisine features dishes from Sudan such as meat stew, kushari and sambusa. COMING SOON friday, May 17 Suzanne Alrahma | Jordan & Palestine Chef Suzanne offers a classic take on Levantine and Arab cuisine like maqluba, mansaf and foul mudammas. Make sure to save room for dessert. She makes rice pudding and warbat! Coming Soon SATURday, May 18 Alice Koh | Malaysia Enjoy Alice’s little morsels of happiness with her take on some of the dim sum dishes in Chinese restaurants in Malaysia. From her fusion fried daikon mochi, gua boa buns with 2 variety of stuffings, siu mai, wontons in a bowl with her favorite Thai chili sauce, Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun (rice noodles rolls), Yong Tau Foo.... she had a hard time putting her menu to only a few selections! Come with your friends and family and gather at the table for a delightful culinary experience! Coming soon SUNday, maY 19 Shaista Haidari | Afghanistan Chef Shaista and her family love to serve up delicious, scratch-made, aromatic dishes like Chapli kebab, Palau rice, lamb kebab and ferney! coming soon FEAST Making Spokane a more hospitable and delicious place to live. Our vision is for all former refugees and immigrants to experience full belonging in the Spokane community and to have opportunities to build healthy, flourishing lives. Feast World Kitchen is our flagship project as a caterer, restaurant, and community gathering space. We continue to build this ecosystem with additions such as practical support through Table Time , consistent presence in local schools, and our annual FeastFest cultural street party!
